Urdu Academy, Delhi – a Government of Delhi institute is inviting applications for admission into One Year Certificate Course in Urdu Language. The Course is offered free of cost. The classes will be held four days in a week at the following locations in Delhi. These are Nizarnuddin, Yarnuna Vihar, West Patel Nagar, B-Block, Janakpuri, Laxrni Nagar, Swastha Vihar (Opp. Coffee Home and Preet Vihar) and Kashmere Gate (C.P.O.Building). Following are details of eligibility and application procedure:

Eligibility: Applicants should have studied Senior Secondary Education or Intermediate without Urdu Subject. They should not have learnt Urdu language at any stage of their education. The One year certificate course is recognised by Delhi University.

Application Procedure: Interested candidates can obtain application forms from the office of Urdu Academy, New Delhi on any working day during the office hours from 13th July 2011. You can submit the filled in application form on the same day. You need to bring one passport size photograph and a copy of the certificate of educational qualification (Intermediate or w\equivalent). Urdu Academy is established to promote and develop Urdu Language and Literature in the NCR of Delhi. The Academy organizes Seminars, Mushaira, Cultural programmes on various occasions in order to encourage the use of language. It also offer financial assistance to Urdu writers to publish their works. As part of educational and training programmes, Urdu Academy provides prizes to Urdu students and also supplies books to Urdu medium schools and libraries. National Institute of Financial Management (NIFM), Haryana has launched a new Certificate Course in Cyber Security and Computer Forensics. The institute is inviting applications for admission to the same for the year 2011-12. NIFM is an Institute of Ministry of Finance, Govt. of India. The duration of the course is 3 months. The course will be conducted in collaboration with Gujarat Forensic Sciences University, Gandhinagar – Gujarat and also in academic alliance with Microsoft.

Duration of the Course: 3 Months (From 20th June, 2011 to 16th September, 2011)

Eligibility Requirements: The applicants must have completed Graduation in any discipline / subject with minimum 50 percent marks. Those appeared / appearing for their final year exams can also apply. All the candidates must have good knowledge of Computers. Candidates with professional qualifications such as BCA, B.E., B.
