Jindal School MA Public Policy Admissions 2012

The Jindal School of Government and Public Policy (JSGP) has announced admission notification 2012 – 2013 for M.A. in Public Policy (MPP). The programme is aimed at promoting research and training in the issues of governance and public policy. This is an inter-disciplinary programme with the participation of schools of law, business and international affairs. Following are details of eligibility, selection and application procedure:

Selection will be based on the Entrance Examination which will be conducted online. The institute also offering scholarships for meritorious candidates.

IIT Madras HSEE For Integrated M.A Admissions

Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) has announced notification for Humanities and Social Sciences Entrance Examination (HSEE) for admission into Master of Arts Programmes in Development Studies and English Studies. These are five year integrated post graduate programmes. Application process for HSEE is completely online. Following are details of programmes and admission process for 2012-13:

The Department of Humanities and Social Sciences (HSS) is one of the earliest departments established at IIT Madras. The programmes are essentially multi disciplinary in nature. The faculty consists of experienced and qualified persons from diverse disciplines such as English, Philosophy, Economics, History, Sociology and German Studies. The HSS Department is also offering doctoral programmes in the disciplines of humanities and social sciences.

1) Integrated M.A. in Development Studies
2) Integrated M.A. in English Studies

All the candidates admitted through HSEE have to pay the fee as prescribed below:

1) One time payment: Rs. 1750
2) Semester fees : Rs. 6150 per semester
3) Refundable Caution Deposit: Rs. 2000
4) Hostel and other fees: Rs. 12,929 for first semester and Rs. 11,929 per each semester thereafter.

SC and ST candidates will be exempted from payment of tuition fees of Rs.3,000/- per semester irrespective of their parental income.
