Saha Institute Kolkata Research Fellowship 2013-14

Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics (SINP) Kolkata is offering research fellowships in Physics and Biophysical Sciences for the academic session 2013 – 14. The selection will be made through Post – M.Sc programmes. The PMSc programme of the Institute is coordinated by the CARE (Center for Advanced Research and Education).

Eligibility : Masters Degree in Physics / Applied Mathematics / Chemistry / Life Science or equivalent. Candidates who are in final year of PG can also apply for admission.
An amount of fellowship : Rs. 12000 per month.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through website : www.saha.ac.in. Last date for the submission of application form is 31st December, 2012. Written exam will be held on 24th February, 2013 .

TIFR Visiting Students Research Program 2013

Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), Mumbai is inviting online applications from eligible candidates for admission into Visiting Students Research Program (VSRP – 2013) to be held during 13th May to 5th July, 2013.

1. Visiting Students Research Program is offered by the department of Mathematics and Physics.
2. Duration of programme : 25 days for Mathematics department and 55 days for other departments.
3. Campus : Mumbai and Pune.
4. Stipend : Rs. 7000 per month.

Eligibility : Candidates who are in Pre final year of Physics / Chemistry / Biology / Mathematics / M.Sc in Computer and Systems Science / M.Pharmacy / Medicine / MCA / ME / M.Tech / BE / B.Tech those candidates only eligible to apply.
