EAMCET Medical Second Phase Counseling 2011 for MBBS and BDS

Second Phase Counseling for EAMCET 2011 Medical candidates will be held during 18th – 22nd August 2011. There are good number of seats in BDS Course. All the vacant seats in MBBS and BDS after the completion of first phase will be completed through 2nd Phase Counseling. The online counseling will be conducted at four counseling centers located at Andhra University (Vizag), JNTU (Hyderabad), SVU (Tirupati) and NTR University of Health Sciences (Vijayawada). Following are seats available for the academic year 2011-12 through second phase counseling:

1) MBBS: 13 seats
2) BDS) 400 seats.

College wise and category vacancies in MBBS and BDS will be diaplayed on the website of NTRUHS at ntruhs.ap.nic.in . Seat allotments for MBBS and BDS will be done as per the Eamcet 2011 ranks. Candidates can check the last ranks / cut offs of EAMCET 2010 Medical Counseling to assess their chances of getting a seat in MBBS and BDS.

The Government and MCI have approved three more colleges this year for MBBS courses. With this there will be an additional 400 seats in MBBS course. The new colleges and seats details are given below:

1) Anil Neerukonda Educational Society (Visakhapatnam): 150 seats in MBBS
2) Apollo Medical College (Hyderabad): 100 seats in MBBS
3) Chandramma Educational Society (Hyderabad): 150 seats in MBBS.

With the allocation of MBBS and BDS seats through second phase, medical counseling process will be completed. The Class work will be started for MBBS and BDS courses as per the schedule of NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada.
