For those interested in higher courses in Medicine, Sri Ramachandra University is offering DM and M.Ch programmes. Sri Ramachandra University, Porur (Chennia – Tamilnadu) has announced notification for admission to DM and M.Ch courses for the academic year 2012-13. Sri Ramachandra University is accredited with A Grade by NAAC. Sri Ramachandra Medical Colleges and Research Center is inviting applications for the following programmes:

1. Group A Courses: D.M. in Cardiology, Neurology, Nephrology, Medical Gastroenterology, Critical Care Medicine and Reproductive Medicine.
2. Group B Courses: M.Ch in Neuro Surgery, Urology, Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery, Surgical Gastroenterology, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Pediatric Surgery.

Applicants should have MD General Medicine or MD Pediatrics or its equivalent qualification based on the course they are applying. Interested candidates can download application forms from the University website www.sriramachandra.edu.in. Filled in application forms should be sent so as to reach on or before 26th June 2012. Entrance exam will be held on 1st July 2012 at Sri Ramachandra University, Porur, Chennai.

SRM University MBBS Admissions 2012-13

Reputed private institute, SRM University, Kancheepuram (Tamilnadu) has announced admission notification 2012 for MBBS and other health sciences courses. The University has separate center for Medicine and Health Sciences. It has separate colleges for dentistry, surgery, nursing and higher specialties. Following are details of eligibility, selection procedure and application process:

Applicants should have passed HSC (10+2) or equivalent with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Botany and Zoology. They should possess marks as prescribed by MCI. Entrance Examination will be held at SRM University, Kattankulathur.

Interested candidates can download application forms from university website www.srmuniv.ac.in . Completed forms along with a DD for Rs.1000 favouring SRMIST and payable at Chennai to the Director (Admissions). Last date for the receipt of applications is 20th June 2012. Entrance Exam will be held on 30th June 2012.
