JEE Advanced Paper 2 Weightage and Analysis

Paper II for JEE Advanced examination is very crucial in deciding the final rank of the candidates. Here is the detailed description of JEE Advanced Paper – II examination. There will be three parts in the exam. These are Part – I Physics, Part – II Chemistry and Part – III Mathematics.

Paper II

Part I – Physics

Section – I: One or More Options Correct Type – 1 to 8 Questions

Section – II: Paragraph Type – 9 to 16 Questions (4 Paragraphs x Each 2 Q = 8 Questions)
(This section contains 4 paragraphs each describing theory, experiment, data etc. Eight questions relate to four paragraphs with two questions on each paragraph. Each question of a paragraph has only one correct answer among the four choices (A), (B), (C), (D).)

Section – III: Matching Listing Type – 17 to 20 Questions (4 Matchings)
(This section contains 4 multiple choice questions. Each question has matching lists. The codes for the lists have choices (A), (B), (C), (D) out of which only one is correct.)

Part II – Chemistry

Section – I: One or More Options Correct Type – 21 to 28 Questions

Section – II: Paragraph Type – 29 to 36 Questions (4 Paragraphs x Each 2 Q = 8 Questions)
