Following are details of Cut Offs for top 20 percentile of candidates who were successful in JEE Advanced in various categories such as General, OBC, SC and ST. The cut off date is provided by various state boards of Intermediate / 10+2 education and categorised by IIT Admissions Board.

Andhra Pradesh Board students have to secure 91 percent marks to be considered for IIT Admissions as per the changed normalisation process of IITs. JEE Advanced 2014 Dates and Format of the Exam

JEE Advanced examination is aimed at testing the abilities of the candidates for admission into B.Tech courses in IITs. Candidates have to come through JEE Main examinations and must secure excellent marks in 10+2 / Intermediate to be considered for JEE Advanced examination. Here are some common doubts regarding exam date and format of JEE Advanced 2014.

When the JEE (Advanced) – 2014 would be held?
The JEE (Advanced) – 2014 examination is scheduled to be held on 25 May, 2014 (Sunday).

Format of JEE (Advanced) – 2014:

JEE Advanced is an offline (pen and paper based) examination. There will be two separate objective type question papers with Multiple Choice Questions. These are as follows: Paper-1 and Paper-2.

Each question paper will have separate parts of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The duration of each question paper will be of 3 hours. The question papers (QP) will be available in Hindi and English languages.

The candidate will have to choose the language of Question paper while registering for JEE (Advanced)-2014 examination. The syllabus and Information Brochure for the examination is available on the JEE Main website.
