There are several institutes at national level who are working in immunology, to name a few:
All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), National Institute of Immunology (NII), Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow; Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER); PGIMER, Chandigarh, National Centre for Biological Sciences, Bangalore; ICGEB, New Delhi; Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology, Hyderabad are the institutes solely involved in immunology related research. Specifically NII in Delhi is solely established for research in the area of immunology.

Research Immunology will give you career provided you have interest and commitment towards the subject. Try to crack UGC – CSIR JRF and join in a reputed institute for Ph.D. This will be the most rewarding route to make a career in Immunology.
