Government of AP is proposed to conduct Grama Sachivalayam, Ward Sachivalayam exams in the last week of March 2020. There are about 14000 vacancies in various posts for which 11.06 lakhs applications were received online by the authorities. Now as the application submission process is over, Panchayat Raj and Municipal administration departments are about to conduct the exams.

APPSC to give question papers:
The responsibility of conducting the examinations has been entrusted to APPSC. Framing question papers, evaluation and announcements of results will be handled by APPSC.
Exams in 3-4 days:
All the exams are planned to be conducted in a span of 3-4 days. The resuls will be announced within a week. DSC (District Selection Committees) will select the candidates at district level based on the merit.
4.56 lakhs application for category 1 posts:
By the end of last date for online applications, 4.56 lakhs applications were received for category 1 posts which includes panchayat secretary grade 5, ward administrative secretary, village mahila police, ward welfare and education assistants.
All the exams are conducted in same pattern followed for recruitment in 2019. Syllabus for various exams also not changed and same topics are given for latest recruitment notification 2020. So candidates can prepare well for the exams as competition is more this time.
