FTII Pune Film and Television Courses Admissions 2015-16

Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune, Maharashtra has issued notification for admission into various film and television courses for the academic year 2015-16. The three years and one year PG and diploma programmes are offered in the film and TV streams. Here are more details:

Film Courses:

1) 3 Year PGD in Direction and Screenplay Writing
2) 3 Year PG Diploma in Cinematography
3) 3 Year PG Diploma in Sound Recording and Sound Design
4) 3 Year PG Diploma in Editing
5) 2 Year PG Diploma in Acting
6) 3 Year PG Diploma in Art Direction and Production Design
7) 1 PG Certificate Course in Feature Film Screenplay Writing

Television Courses:

1) 1 year PG Certificate Course in TV Direction
2) 1 year PG Certificate Course in Electronic Cinematography
3) 1 year PG Certificate Course in Video Editing
4) 1 year PG Certificate Course in Sound Recording and TV Engineering

Eligibility: Applicants should have Graduation in any discipline. Interested candidates can submit online applications from 8th June through www.ftiindia.com. Last date for the submission of online applications is 8th July 2015.

University of Calcutta PGD in Media Studies Admissions 2013-14

University of Calcutta, Kolkata is inviting applications from eligible candidates for admission into PG Diploma in Media Studies for the academic session 2013 – 14. The prescribed application forms can be obtained from the C U Sales Counter ,Asutosh Building (Ground Floor) College Street Campus Kolkata -700073 on payment of Rs. 250 in cash.

PG Diploma in Media Studies (Film and Television) : 55 seats.
Eligibility : Degree in any discipline.
The selection will be made through written test and interview.

Written test will be held on 25th August, 2013 at Asutosh Building, College Street Campus. Interview will be held on 30th August, 2013 at at Ritwik Hall, Hardinge building, 4th Floor, College Street Campus.

The completed application form in the prescribed format along with all relevant educational qualification should be sent to the office of the Media Studies Diploma Course, Hardinge Building (4th Floor), College Street campus, KolKata -700073.
