Panchayat Secretaries Study Material – Local Self Government – History and Concept

Panchayat Secretaries recruitment process is under progress in Telangana State. Andhra Pradesh Government has also approved 1000 Panchayat Secretary vacancies to be filled up APPSC soon. The recruitment process for both the states is same. There will be screening and main exams for the posts of Panchayat Secretaries.

Preliminary Exam consists of 2 papers.
Paper 1: General Studies and Secretarial Abilities
Paper 2: Rural Development and Panchayat Raj System

APPSC has conducted Panchayat Secretary Recruitment Screening Test in 2017. The Commission has introduced two stage selection process for Panchayat Secretary posts. The preliminary examination question paper is given below for the benefit of the candidates.

Panchayat Secretary preliminary exam has 150 questions in objective multiple type. Total marks are 150. Duration of the exam is 150 minutes. The question paper covers topics like current affairs, general knowledge, Indian History / AP History, Indian Geography / AP Geography, Indian Economy / AP Economy, General English, Mental Ability etc.
