The Scholarship is sponsored by ECC division of the company to study M.Tech (Construction Technology and Management) Course at IIT-Madras and IIT-Delhi. L and T every year issues notification on leading newspapers about these scholarships. It also writes to more than 100 selective Engineering colleges inviting applications. The selection will be done jointly by IITs and L and T. The selection process includes a series of written tests, Group Discussion and Personal Interview. On the completion of the M.Tech., the selected candidates are offered job opportunities in the company.
The duration of the course is 2 years starting from July every year. Applicants should have 65 percent marks and their age should not be more than 23 years as on the prescribed date.
