The Narotam Sekhsaria Foundation, Mumbai inviting applications for the grant of Scholarships for higher studies for the year 2012-13. The Scholarships named ‘Narotam Sekhsaria Scholarship for Higher Studies’ is aimed at supporting talented students and promote academic excellence in India. The programme involves mentoring the scholars apart from financial suport. Under this scholarship, the Narotam Sekhsaria Foundation awards interest free loan scholarships to Indian students. Applicants should have good academic record. The amount of scholarship is upto a maximum of Rs. 10 Lacs.
These Scholarships are offered for Post Graduate studies at prestigious institutions in India and abroad. The applicable disciplines / fields are Pure Sciences, Applied Sciences, Social Sciences and Humanities, Law, Architecture and Management. Selected candidates will get mentoring from the reputed people in academia, industry and the professions.
Eligibility Requirements: Applicants should have Graduation with good academic record. Those studying their final year of Degree also eligible. Age should be below 30 years as on 31st January 2012. Students planning to pursue PG studies at prestigious institutes from the Fall – 2012 semester are eligible. Those awaiting confirmaton of admission are also eligible, but the award of scholarship is subject to grant of admission.
Applications should be enclosed with attested copies of:
1. All mark sheets and degree certificates
2. valid GRE / GMAT / TOEFL / IELTS / GATE / CAT scorecards (as applicable)
3. Award letters of scholarships / awards received any.
4. Your application to the university / institute OR offer letter confirming your admission
5. First 4 pages of your passport
Candidates will be short listed based on their application and will be called for personal interview at Mumbai during April 2012. The interview is compulsory and is the basis for final selection.

Filled in application should be encosed with fee of Rs 300/- by cash/ DD/ MO drawn in favour of ‘Narotam Sekhsaria Foundation’ and copies of above mentioned documents.
