Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan Merit Scholarships 2015-16

Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, New Delhi has issued notification for the award of Merit Scholarships to the students of Sanskrit Pathashalas / Mahavidyalayas/ Secondary/ Higher Secondary Schools/ Colleges/ Universities for the year 2015-16. Following are the courses of study for which Scholarship is given:

1) Class 9th and 10th standard/ Purva- Madhyama or equivalent courses with Sanskrit/ Pali/ Prakrit as a paper of atleast 100 marks.
Scholarship amount: Rs.250 per month for 10 months.

2) 11th and 12th standard/ Prak- Shastri/ Uttarmadhyama and equivalent courses with Sanskrit/ Pali/ Prakrit as a paper of at least 100 marks.
Scholarship: Rs.300 per month for 10 months.

3) Shastri/ Graduaton/ B.A./ B.A.(Hons.) and equivalent courses of three years duration with Sanskrit/ Pali/ Prakrit as a subject of at least 100 marks.
Scholarship: Rs. 400 per month for 10 months.

4) Acharya/ M.A. Degree in Sanskrit/ Pali/ Prakrit and its equivalent Post- Graduation Degree.
Scholarship: Rs.500 per month for 10 months.

5) Vidyavaridhi/ Ph.D. and equivalent in Sanskrit/ Pali/ Prakrit.
Scholarship: Rs.1500 per month and Rs.2000 per year as contingent for two years.

Application procedure: The candidates can apply in the prescribed format along with attested copies of the mark sheets and other relevant certificates. Filled in forms should be sent to the Registrar, Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan (Deemed University), 56-57, Institutional Area, Janakpuri, New Delhi. Last date is 5th September, 2015.

Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan New Delhi Scholarships 2013-14

Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan (RSS), New Delhi is offering Scholarships for pursuing higher studies in Sanskrit at the levels of Shastri / Vidyavaridhi / Graduation / Post Graduation / Acharya / Ph.D. in recognized Educational Institutions. Duration of Scholarship is ten months up to PG (From 1st July to 30th April) and two years for Ph.D. course.

1. An amount of Scholarship is Rs. 400 per month for pursuing higher courses of Shastri / Graduation / B.A. / B.A.(Hons.) or equivalent with Sanskrit / Pali / Prakrit. Eligibility : Applicants must have passed in Intermediate with minimum first class marks in aggregate.

2. An amount of Scholarship is Rs. 500 per month for pursuing courses of Acharya Degree in Sanskrit / Pali / Prakrit or equivalent Masters Degree. Eligibility : Applicants should have minimum first class marks in aggregate in Bachelors Degree.

3. An amount of Scholarship is Rs. 1500 per month for pursuing higher studies of Vidyavaridhi / Ph.D. or equivalent in Sanskrit / Pali / Prakrit. Eligibility : Applicants must have Acharya / M.A. in Sanskrit / Pali / Prakrit with minimum first class marks.

The prescribed application forms are available on website : www.sanskrit.nic.in. Filled in application form along with self attested copies of certificates for proof of age, qualification and caste certificate should be sent to the Registrar, Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan (Deemed University) 56 – 57, Institutional Area, Janak Puri, New Delhi – 110 058. Last date for the receipt of completed application form is 19th November, 2012.
