RIMC Dehradun Admissions into 8th Class 2015

RIMC, Dehradun is inviting applications from eligible candidates for admission into 8th standard for the academic session 2015-16. The selection will be made through entrance test to be held on 1st and 2nd June, 2015.

Applicants must have passed in 7th class. Applicants age should be between 11 1/2 and 13 years. Candidates who are studying of their 7th class may also eligible to apply. The application fee is Rs.430 in the form of DD drawn in favour of The Commandant, RIMC, Dehradun.

Duly filled in application form along with relevant documents should reach the Examination Cell, Room No. 222- A, Directorate of Education, Old Secretariat, New Delhi – 110 054. RIMC Dehradun Merit Scholarships 2014-15

Rashtriya Indian Military College, Dehradun is inviting applications for Merit Scholarships for the year 2014. The amount of scholarship varies from state to state and will be in between Rs. 10000 to Rs. 20000 per annum.

Eligibility: Candidates should be studying in Class VII or passed Class VII from any recognised school in India. Only boys are eligible to apply. The written examination consists of three papers. These are English, Mathematics and General Knowledge. The exam will be held on 1st and 2nd December 2013.

There will be viva – voce and medical examination for those qualified in written examination. Prospectus and application forms can be obtained from The Commandant RIMC Dehradun, Drawee Branch, State Bank of India, Tel Bhavan, Dehradun, Uttarakhand.

Last date for the submission of filled in applications is 10th October 2013. Applications have to be sent to respective state governments and not to Rashtriya Indian Military College, Dehradun, Uttarakhand. For more details, see www.rimc.gov.in .
