Regional Cancer Institute, Thiruvananthapuram (RCC) has issued admission notification for the year 2012-13 for Post Graduate Courses in MD Radiotherapy and MD Radiodiagnosis. Completed application forms should reach the office of the Director on or before 17-04-2012. Selection of the candidates will be based on merit only. Interested candidates can download application forms and prospectus from www.rcctvm.org. Duration of each program is 3 years. Here are other details:
1) Radiotherapy : 8 seats (Four – Institute , Four – Government)
2) Radio-Diagnosis: 2 seats (One – Institute , One- Government)
3) Tuition Fees – Rs 3,00,000/- per annum
4) Caution deposit – Rs 10,000/- (refundable). University fee is applicable as per the rules of the Kerala University of Health Sciences.
Eligibility: Applicants should have passed MBBS Degree from any of the Medical Colleges in India and the degree should have recognized by the Medical Council of India. Candidates must have completed Compulsory Rotating Resident Internship (C.R.R.I.) on or before 31.03.2012. All the candidates applying for Institute Seats should have qualified in the All India PG Medical Entrance Examinations 2012 conducted by the AIIMS.
