Xavier Institute of Social Service (XISS) has announced notification for admission into PGDM Courses for the year 2012-13. XISS offer full time two year programmes in various specialisations such as HRM, Rural Management, IT, Finance etc. XISS has main campus at Jamshedpur and has another center at Ranchi, Jharkhands. XISS uses XAT 2012 scores for shortlisting the candidates for further selection process. Following are details of courses, eligibility and application procedure:
PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Management): In the specialisations of Human Resource Management, Rural Management, Information Technology, Finance and Marketing. Eligibility Requirements: Applicants should have three or four years bachelor’s degree with minimum 50 percent marks in any discipline. Preference will be given to candidates with Engineering, Economics, Commerce, Management and Computer Science degree and relevant work experience. Those appearing for the final year degree exams also can apply.
The application process consists of two stages: 1. Applying for XAT 2012 at XLRI, Jamshedpur and 2. Applying at XISS, Ranchi for admission separately. Candidates can applsys online for XAT 2012 at by visiting www.xatonline.net.in till 30th November 2011. Candidates should apply separately at XISS by downloading the application from website of the Institute at www.xiss.ac.ins. Application forms and prospectus are available from 1st November 2011 till 10th March 2012.
