KEA – PGCET 2016 for Admissions into Various PG Courses

Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), Government of Karnata, Bangalore is conducting Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) – 2016 for admissions into various PG courses for the academic session 2016-16.

PG Courses : MBA, MCA, ME, M.Tech, M.Arch, Part time M.Tech Quality Improvement Programme (QIP) and for 2 year lateral entry to MCA course.
Duration of programmes : 2 years for all courses except MCA (3 years).
Eligibility : Applicants should have Graduation in relevant discipline.
Selection process : Through entrance test to be held on 2nd and 3rd July, 2016.
Application fee : Rs. 650 which should be paid through online only.

Candidates are required to apply online through website : http://kea.kar.nic.in. Opening date for online registration is 24th May, 2016. Closing date for the submission of online application is 8th June, 2016.

Amrita School of Communication – Degree, PG and Ph.D Pgorammes 2016

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amrita School of Communication has announced notification for admissions into Degree, PG and Ph.D programmes for the year 2016-17. The selection will be made through Communication Aptitude Test.

1. BA Mass Communication – Journalism or Print Media, Television and Radio Broadcasting, Film, Public Relations, Animation and Graphic Design and Advertising.
Eligibility : Passed in Intermediate with minimum 50 percent marks. Duration of programme is 3 years.

2. MA Communication – Graduation with minimum 50 percent marks. Duration of programme is 2 years.

3. PG Diploma in Journalism – Graduation with minimum 50 percent marks. Duration of course is one year.

4. Ph.D in Communication – Print Media, Broadcast Media, New Media, Film Studies, Integrated Marketing Communication and Advertising.
Eligibility : Masters Degree.
