NIT Tiruchirapalli M.Sc, MS, Ph.D Admissions 2011-12

National Institute of Technology (NIT), Tiruchirapalli, Tamilnadu issued notification for admission into M.Sc., MS By Research and Ph.D. (Full Time and Part Time) Programs for the academic year 2011-2012. All the programs will commence from July 2011. NIT, Trichy is the best institute among its peers and is having quality infrastructure and reputed faculty. There are limited number of seats in each program under sponsored category. Following are details of programs and application process:

1. M.Sc.: Chemistry / Operations Research and Computer Applications / Physics. Applicants should have Bachelors Degree in Chemistry / Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Science/ Applied Science / Physics/ Applied Science). Entrance Examination will be conducted by NIT, Trichy.

2. M.S. By Research (Full Time and Part Time): All branches of Engineering. Selection will be based on GATE score.

3. Ph.D. in the faculties of Engineering, Architecture, Management Studies, Computer Applications, Science, Humanities (Maths, Physics, Chemistry and English). Selection will be based on Written Exam and Interview.

The filled up application form along with required enclosures and a non refundable registration fee of Rs.300/- (Rs.100/- for SC/ST/ PD candidates) in the form of DD drawn in favour of ‘Director, National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli- 620 015’ and payable at Tiruchirappalli should reach ‘Dean (Academic), National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli- 620015, Tamil Nadu. Last date for the receipt of filled in applications is 22nd June 2011.

Director, NIT Tiruchirappalli announced notification for inviting online applications for Common Admissions to Full Time M.Tech. programmes (2011-2012) at National Institutes of Technology (NIT) named and located as NIT Agartala, NIT Calicut, MNIT Jaipur, VNIT Nagpur, NIT Rourkela, NITK Surathkal, NIT Tiruchirappalli and NIT Warangal. Interested candidates will have to apply online from May 6, 2011 onwards. Following are the participating institutions under this common admission notification:
