NIMCET – 2015 for Admissions into MCA Programmes

Applications invited from eligible candidates for Common Entrance Test to be held by National Institute of Technology (NIT), Agartala for admissions into MCA programmes for the academic year 2015-16.

NIT MCA Common Entrance Test – 2015
MCA : 867 seats.
Eligibility : Applicants must have B.Sc / B.Sc (Hons.) / BIT Engineering / BAC / BE / B.Tech and have valid test score.
Duration of programme : 3 years.
Application fee : Rs. 1800 which should be paid through online.
Campuses : Agartala, Bhopal, Jamshedpur,Calicut, Allahabad, Durgapur, Kurukshetra, Raipur, Surathkal, Tiruchirappalli, Raipur and Warangal.

Candidates are required to apply online through website : https://nimcet2015.nita.ac.in. The hard copy of application form along with relevant documents should reach the Chairman / Secretary, NIMCET-2015, National Institute of Technology, Agartala, P.O.: NIT Agartala, Barjala, Jirania, Tripura (W) – 799 046.

Important dates :
1. Opening date for online registration is 16th February, 2015.
2. Closing date for submission of online application is 6th April, 2015.
3. Last date for the receipt of hard copy of application form is 20th April, 2015.
4. NIMCET – 2015 to be held on 31st May, 2015.

NIT Agartala Ph.D Admissions 2013-14

National Institute of Technology (NIT) Agartala has announced notification for admission into Ph.D programme in various departments for the academic year 2013-14. Ph.D programes are offered in the area of Civil Engineering. Hydro informatics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Physics, Computer Science and Engineering, Chemistry, Production Engineering, Humanities and Social Sciences and MBA.

Qualification : Applicants should have Graduation with minimum 85 percent marks (valid GATE score) or Post Graduation with minimum first class marks in Engineering / Technology for Engineering Department. Candidate with Post Graduation in relevant discipline with minimum 55 percent marks for all Department. The selection process will consist of interview / written test to be held on 1st January, 2013.

The prescribed application forms can be downloaded from website : www.nitagartaa.in. Filled in application form along with attested copies of all relevant certificates and fee DD for Rs. 500 drawn in favour of Registrar, NIT Agartala and Payable at SBI, NIT, Agartala branch (Code – ll49l) should be sent to the Dean, Academic, NIT Agartala, Agartala – 799 055. Last date for the receipt of completed application form is 3rd December, 2012. Date of admission / registration from 1st to 7th January, 2013.
