NHFDC Scholarships

National Handicapped Finance and Development Corporation (NHFDC) has announced Scholarship Scheme for the handicapped students who are pursuing degree, PG and other professional and technical courses in India. These scholarships are provided by the Ministry of Social Justice, Government of India. Following are the details of the scholarship amount, eligibility and application procedure:

Scholarship amount:

For degree students: Rs.2500 per month
For PG students: Rs. 3000 per month
For Professional Courses: Rs. 6000 per month
For PG Courses (Professional): Rs. 10000 per month.

The annual income of the parents should not exceed Rs.3 lakhs. Total number of scholarships are 2500. Out of these 750 scholarships are allotted for women candidates and remaining for male students.

Candidates should apply online only through the website www.nhfdc.nic.in . Filled in forms along with required copies of documents should be sent to National Handicapped Finance and Development Corporation (NHFDC), Red Cross Bhawan, Sector-12, Faridabad – 121 007.

National Handicapped Finance and Development Corporation (NHFDC) has released scholarships notification (National Fund) for the disabled / handicapped candidates for the academic year 2014-15. Candidates can apply online only through www.nhfdc.nic.in and printed hard copies should be sent to National Handicapped Finance and Development Corporation (NHFDC), Red Cross Bhawan, Sector – 12, Faridabad – 121007.

Number of scholarships: 500 (National Fund)
Candidates should be pursuing higher academic / professional or technical qualification.

Selected candidates will get Rs.1000 per month for hostelers and Rs. 700 per month for day scholars for studying professional courses at Graduation and above level courses.

Monthly income of the parent / guardian should be less than Rs. 15000 per annum. Interested candidates may apply through www.nhfdc.nic.in. Last date for the submission of applications is 31 August 2014.
