MDNIY New Delhi – Scholarships and Fellowships for Diploma Courses 2015

Applications are invited by the Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga (MDNIY), New Delhi for Scholarships and Fellowships for the students who are pursuing of their Diploma course in Yoga Science for the academic session 2015-16. Duration of course is one year.

1. Scholarship : An amount of scholarship is Rs. 3000 per month to 13 Indian meritorious students based on performance in the 1st Semester examination of the course.

2. Fellowship : An amount of Fellowship is Rs. 8000 per month to Andaman and Nicobar Islands – 2 and North-East States – 2 students.

Candidates must have Bachelors Degree in any discipline with minimum 50 percent marks in aggregate. Applicants age should be below 30 years as on 1st August, 2015. The application fee is Rs. 500 in the form of DD drawn in favour of Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga and payable at New Delhi.

The completed application form along with photocopies of mark sheets and fee DD should reach The Director, Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga, 68, Ashoka Road, New Delhi – 110 001. Last date for the receipt of completed application form is 14th August, 2015.

Archaeological Survey of India – PGDA Scholarships for PG Diploma Courses 2015

Archaeological Survey of India, Delhi is inviting applications from eligible candidates for PGDA Scholarships, 2015 from students who are pursuing of their 2 year Post Graduate Diploma in Archaeology course for the academic year 2015 – 17 in The Institute of Archaeology.

Applicants should have Post Graduation in Ancient / Archaeology / Medieval / Indian History / Anthropology / Indian Classical Languages like Pali, Sanskrit, Prakit, Arabic / Persian / in Geology with knowledge of Pleistocene age with minimum 55 percent marks in aggregate.

Duration of scholarship is two years. There are 15 scholarships in total. An amount of scholarship is Rs. 8000 per month. Applicants age should be below 25 years as on 31st August, 2015. The selection process will consist of written test and personal interview.

Duly filled in application form along with relevant documents and fee DD for Rs. 250 drawn in favour of Director, Institute of Archaeology payable at New Delhi should reach the Director, Institute of Archaeology, Archaeological Survey of India, Red Fort, Delhi – 110 006. Written test will be held on 2ns September, 2015. Personal interview will be held on 4th and 5th September, 2015.
