Archaeological Survey of India – PGDA Scholarships for PG Diploma Courses 2015

Archaeological Survey of India, Delhi is inviting applications from eligible candidates for PGDA Scholarships, 2015 from students who are pursuing of their 2 year Post Graduate Diploma in Archaeology course for the academic year 2015 – 17 in The Institute of Archaeology.

Applicants should have Post Graduation in Ancient / Archaeology / Medieval / Indian History / Anthropology / Indian Classical Languages like Pali, Sanskrit, Prakit, Arabic / Persian / in Geology with knowledge of Pleistocene age with minimum 55 percent marks in aggregate.

Duration of scholarship is two years. There are 15 scholarships in total. An amount of scholarship is Rs. 8000 per month. Applicants age should be below 25 years as on 31st August, 2015. The selection process will consist of written test and personal interview.

Duly filled in application form along with relevant documents and fee DD for Rs. 250 drawn in favour of Director, Institute of Archaeology payable at New Delhi should reach the Director, Institute of Archaeology, Archaeological Survey of India, Red Fort, Delhi – 110 006. Written test will be held on 2ns September, 2015. Personal interview will be held on 4th and 5th September, 2015.
