NEET Biology Chapter-wise Weightage Marks

NEET – UG question paper consists of 180 objective type questions from biology, physics and chemistry subjects. Out of these 90 questions will be asked from Biology alone. This indicates the importance of Biology in securing good rank in NEET exam and consequently getting seat in MBBS / BDS.

Following is the weightage given to various chapters in NEET 2017 exam:

Genetics and Evolution: 15 questions
Human Physiology: 13 questions
Reproduction: 11 questions
Diversity in Living Organisms: 11 questions
Ecology: 9 questions
Biology and Human Welfare: 7 questions
Structural Organisation in Plants and Animals: 7 questions
Cell Structure and Function: 7 questions
Plant Physiology: 6 questions
Biotechnology: 4 questions

The above weightage shows that first four chapters get more than 50 percent questions in the exam. Hence candidates should focus on those chapters. Try to practice more objective type questions as the exam date is approaching.

NEET Ranks and Marks of Telangana State Candidates – 2017

KNR University of Health Sciences, Warangal – Telangana State has announced the list of candidates appeared for NEET – 2017 (UG) from the state of Telangana. The list has been released as per the data submitted to CBSE.

The KNRUHS has clarified that the list is for the information purpose of students and parents only. Marks secured and national and state ranks are given in the list.

The final merit list of the candidates of NEET 2017 in Telangana will be displayed only after submission of online applications after notification by KNR University of Health Sciences and verification of original certificates of qualified candidates.
