Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) has announced notification inviting applications for one year marine engineering training course for the year 2016-17. The course is approved by Director General of Shipping, Ministry of Shipping, Govt of India.

Course Details: This is one year residential GME Training. On completion of the course, candidates obtain Part A of MEO class IV, the Cert. of Competency (CoC) required to join Indian or Foreign Merchant Ships as Junior Marine Engineer. They can rise to the rank of Chief Engineer with subsequent CoCs.

Qualifications: Candidates should have minimum 50 percent marks in Mechanical / Mechanical Automation / Naval Architecture Engineering Degree with 50 percent marks in English in X or XII Std.

Seacom Marine College, Kolkata is inviting applications form eligible candidates for admissions into ETI course – 2014. Duration of programme is 4 months (17 weeks).

B.Tech / Diploma in any branch of Electrical Electronics Engineering / Electronics and Communication Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering candidates are eligible to apply.

Candidates who will be completed the ETO course those candidates will be posted in Merchant Navy as Electro Technical Officer (ETO). Course commencing from 6th January, 2014.
