IIST Thiruvananthapuram M.Tech Admissions 2012

Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST), Thiruvananthapuram has announced M.Tech Admission Notification 2012 in various areas of specialization relevant to ISRO programmes. Admissions to following M.Tech. programmes are presently open only for young scientists and engineers nominated by various centers and units of ISRO or Department of Space, Govt. of India. Following are details of specializations:

1) M.Tech. in Soft computing and Machine Learning
2) M.Tech. in Chemical Systems
3) M.Tech. in RF and Microwave Communications
4) M.Tech. in Applied and Adaptive Optics

Admissions are open for July 2012 session. Nominations from centers and units of ISRO or DoS should be sent to The Dean (Academic), IIST, Valiamala P.O., Thiruvananthapuram – 695 547 by 31st May 2012. Class work will begin in July 2012. The institute is known for producing scientists to work in the space programmes of India.

MNNIT Allahabad M.Tech, M.Sc and Ph.D Admissions 2012-13

Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad (MNNIT) has announced notification for admission to Ph.D. programmes and M.Tech. (Part Time / Sponsored), M.Sc.(Mathematics and Scientific Computing) and Master of Social Work for the academic year 2012-13. MNNIT is one of the best NITs in the country. The recent placements in the institute created a history with a student of B.Tech final was offered 1.33 crore salary package per annum by social networking site, Facebook. Other prominent institute for M.Tech in BITS Pilani, which also announced notification recently. Following are details of PG and Ph.D programmes in MNNIT:

Applications are invited for admission to following Postgraduate and Ph.D. programmes in various departments. MNNIT is also offering Full Time Stipendiary M.Tech programme. The programmes on offer for this session are 1. Part-time / Sponsored M.Tech. 2. M.Sc. (Mathematics and Scientific Computing) 3. Master of Social Work 4. Ph.D. 5. M.Tech (full time Stipendiary). Usually NITs ask for GATE score for admission to M.Tech, but you can also do M.Tech without GATE in IIITs.

Duly filled-in and signed applications along with a DD of Rs 1000/- ( Rs 500/- for SC/ ST candidates ) drawn in favour of Director, MNNIT and payable at Allahabad must reach The Admission Cell, Office of the Dean ( Academic ), MNNIT Allahabad, Allahabad – 211004.
