JNTU Hyderabad Ph.D, M.Phil, MS Admissions 2011-12 | Full Time and External Mode

JNTU (Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University) Kukatpally, Hyderabad – Andhra Pradesh has issued notification for admission to various Post Graduate and Research programs for 2011-12. Programs are offered in Full Time and External Mode. JNTU Hyderabad is known for quality of faculty and infrastructure with reputation for training and research in science and technology disciplines. The University is offering Ph.D./ M.Phil./ M.S. Research Programs in the disciplines / subjects of Basic and Applied Sciences, Engineering and Technology, English, Physical Education and Management Studies. Following are details eligibility and application procedure:

Specialisations in M.Phil / Ph.D. Research Programs:

1. Ph.D.: In Energy Systems / Mechanical Engineering / Civil Engineering / Computer Science Engineering / Electronics and Communications Engineering / Bio-Technology / Spatial Information and Technology / Electrical and Electronics Engineering / Metallurgy / Pharmaceutical Sciences / Water Resources / Environmental Sciences / Chemistry / Mathematics / Physics / Nano Science and Technology / Management Studies;

Eligibility: Applicants should have PG Degree in relevant subject with at least 55 percent marks. For Ph.D. program in Management, candidates need MBA . Course / Subject specific eligibility requirements for all courses are available on JNTU Hyderabad website www.jntuh.ac.in.

2. M.Phil.: In Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, and Management Science.; Eligibility: Same as above for Ph.D.

3. M.S. : In Computer Science, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences and Biotechnology. Eligibility: Applicants need B.E. / B.Tech. / B. Pharmacy in the relevant specialisation / subject with at least 55 percent marks.

Selection of Candidates: JNTU shall conduct a Written Examination and Personal Interview. Written Exam will consist of 100 multiple choice questions in the relevant subject. IIT Madras M.S., Ph.D. Admissions 2011-12

Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IITM) issued notification for admission to M.S. and Ph.D. programmes in the disciplines of Aerospace Engineering, Applied Mechanics, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Civil, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical, Engineering Desing, Humanities and Social Sciences, Management Studies, Mathematics, Mechanical, Metturgical and Materials Engineering, Ocean Engineering and Physics. IIT Madras also offers Joint Ph.D in Engineering and Sciences in collaboration with National University of Singapore, Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, Trivandrum and Christian Medical College, Vellore in the area of Biomedical Devices and Technology.

Eligibility: There are different categories of admission. These are Regular / Full Time, Part Time, External Registration and Staff Members. For Ph.D. Programs, applicants should have Masters Degree in relevant subject in the disciplines of Engineering / Technology/ Sciences/ Humanities / Social Sciences with excellent academic Record. Candidates should have valid GATE/ CSIR UGC NET/ NBHM etc. Management Candidates should have valid scores such as JMET / CAT / XAT / MAT /ATMA / GATE / UGC or CSIR / NET / JRF or Lectureship OR GMAT / GRE.
