Kerala SSLC – THSLC Results and SAY Supplementary Exams Schedule 2012

The Government of Kerala has announced results of SSLC / THSLC Examinations 2012. The results were announced on 26th April 2012 at 11-30 AM. The results can be availed from http://keralaresults.nic.in/sslc2012/sslc.htm by entering Register Number of the candidate. Kerala has recorded a all time history with 93.64 percent of the candidates passed in SSLC examinations. Out of the total 4,69,919 candidates appeared for the exams, about 6995 secured ‘A’ Grade. Results can be had from the websites www.results.itschool.gov.in, www.kerala.gov.in or examresults.kerala.gov.in .

Candidates who have failed to secure even a D grade can appear for the SAY (Save a Year) Supplementary Examinations to be held from 14th to 18th May 2012. Candidates who did not attend for the exams in two subjects due to health reasons or death of a immediate family person are also eligible to appear for the SAY exam.

The candidates who are planning to appear for SAY examination should submit prescribed application form with fees and a computer print out in proof of the Grade to the concerned School Headmaster. Last date for the submission of applications is 3rd May 2012 (4 PM).

IIST Thiruvananthapuram M.Tech Admissions 2012

Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST), Thiruvananthapuram has announced M.Tech Admission Notification 2012 in various areas of specialization relevant to ISRO programmes. Admissions to following M.Tech. programmes are presently open only for young scientists and engineers nominated by various centers and units of ISRO or Department of Space, Govt. of India. 1) M.Tech. in Soft computing and Machine Learning
2) M.Tech. in Chemical Systems
3) M.Tech. in RF and Microwave Communications
4) M.Tech. in Applied and Adaptive Optics

Admissions are open for July 2012 session. Nominations from centers and units of ISRO or DoS should be sent to The Dean (Academic), IIST, Valiamala P.O., Thiruvananthapuram – 695 547 by 31st May 2012. Class work will begin in July 2012. More details can be obtained from http://www.iist.ac.in/admission/master-level . IIST is a highly reputed institute for training and research in space science and technology. The institute is known for producing scientists to work in the space programmes of India.
