CSIR – UGC Test Syllabus and Scheme of the Examination 2015

Joint CSIR-UGC Test is offered by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), New Delhi for Junior Research Fellowship and Eligibility for Lectureship (NET) June, 2015 session. Following are details of syllabus for test and scheme of the test.

Scheme of the test : It is a single paper MCQ based test to be held on 21st June, 2015 in the following subjects given below. The total marks for 200. Duration of test is 3 hours (Morning session from 9.00 am to 12.00 noon and Afternoon session from 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm).

Subjects for test : Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Physical Sciences and Engineering Sciences.

Indian Statistical Institute Degree, PG, PG Diploma and JRF Programmes 2014

Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), Kolkata has announced notification for admissions into B Stat, B Math, MS, M.Tech, PG Diploma and Research Fellowships programme for the year 2014. Admission test will be held on 11th May, 2014.

1. B Stat (Hons) – 3 years
2. B Math (Hons) – 3 years
3. M Stat – 2 years
4. M Math – 2 years
5. Masters of Science (MS) – 2 years
6. M.Tech – 2 years
7. Post Graduate Diploma – 1 year
8. Junior Research Fellowship (JRF)

The selection process will consist of written test and interview. Candidates are required to apply online through website : http://www.isical.ac.in/-deanweb. Email : dean@iaical.ac.in.

The application fee is Rs. 500 in the form of challan available on website during 7th February to 9th March, 2014. Opening and closing date for online registration is 5th February and 6th march, 2014 respectively.
