ICSE 10th Class and ISC 12th Class Results on 29th May 2017

ICSE and ISC results will be announced with in tact moderation policy.
The ICSE and ISC results will be out on Monday, 29th May 2017. The board will follow marks moderation policy as ordered by the Delhi High Court recently and release the results accordingly. The results can be accessed through www.cisce.org .

Results of the ISC (Class 12) and ICSE (Class 10), 2017 examinations held in February – March will be declared on May 29, Monday, at 3.00 pm. The decision has been taken ending uncertainty over moderation marks.

The CISCE has earlier informed that the board will follow the policy of CBSE and Delhi Court with regard to moderation marks policy for 12th Class results.

In a joint meeting of CBSE, and ICSE in April 2017, it was decided to scrap moderation policy. But the decision was on hold after the Delhi High Court ordered for the continuation of the moderation marks system. ICSE and ISC results also will be released with moderation marks.

CBSE and ISC Class XII Results Delayed Due to Moderation Issue – 2017

CBSE has put the lakhs of students of Class XII in dark with moderation issue. Several state boards and ISC have also withheld the results of Class XII and keep waiting for the judgement on CBSE moderation issue. Following is the timeline of the issue.

April 24, 2017: CBSE and 31 other school boards meet and decided to do away with moderation of marks.

May 12 and 18: Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan boards announced class XII results without moderation. The results shows dip in performance of the students compared to the previous years.

22 May 2017: Parent and lawyer file PIL against CBSE’s move to end moderation.

23 May 2017: HC restrains CBSE from doing away with moderation this year.
24 May: HRD minister meets CBSE officials to seek legal opinion and the ministry may move apex court against High Court verdict.

24 May: UP board decided to follow whatever CBSE takes on moderation. ISCE has also delayed the results and may adopt the CBSE policy.
