Indian Oil Academic Scholarships 2012-13 for ITI, Engineering, MBBS and MBA Courses

Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), New Delhi has announced Academic Scholarships for the year 2012-13. The IOCL is offering scholarships for High School, ITI, Engineering, Medical and Management Courses in India. IOCL is India’s prestigious oil company. Applicants age should be between 15 – 30 years as on 3rd July 2012. Following are details of number of scholarships, eligibility and application procedure:

Number of Scholarships for various categories:

1) For High School and ITI Students: 2000 Scholarships. Duration is two years. Value of Scholarship is Rs. 1000 per month. Eligiblity: Applicants should be in 11th Class / first year of ITI.

2) For Engineering (BE / B.Tech): 300 Scholarships. Duration is 4 years and value of scholarship is Rs. 3000 per month. Eligibility: Candidates should be a bonafide student of 1st year engineering course of 4 year duration in a recognised college.

3) For Medicine (MBBS): 200 Scholarships. Duration of the scholarship is 4 years and value is Rs. 3000 per month. Eligiblity: Candidates should be in the first year of MBBS course with four year duration.

4) For Management (MBA): 100 Scholarships. Rs. 3000 per month for 2 years. Eligibility: Applicants should be a full time regular student of Business Administration / Business Management. Distance candidates are not eligible.

IOC Scholarships for B.Tech, MBA, MBBS, ITI

Indian Oil Corporation Limited is a premier government owned corporate oil company in India. As part of its social responsibility, IOC offers scholarships for Engineering, management, Medicine and ITI Diploma / Degree holders. The company announces notification for Academic Scholarships for the year 2010 – 2011. These scholarships are allocated for students of 10 + / ITI, Engineering, MBBS and MBA Courses.

Total number of scholarships is 2600 (Earlier it was 450 only). These will be distributed among all the eligible courses and students. Candidates pursuing full time courses in the above disciplines are eligible to apply. Applicant’s age should be between 15 – 30 years as on the stipulated date in the original notification released from time to time.

1. 10 + / ITI: Duration of the scholarships is 2 years; Number of Scholarshis: 2000; Qualification: 10th Class; Scholarship amount: Rs. 1000 per month.

2. Engineering: Duration of the scholarships is 4 years; Number of Scholarshis: 300; Qualification: 12th Class; Scholarship amount: Rs. 2000 per month.

3. MBBS: Duration of the scholarships is 4 years; Number of Scholarshis: 200; Qualification: 12th Class; Scholarship amount: Rs. 2000 per month.

4. MBA: Duration of the scholarships is 2 years; Number of Scholarshis: 100; Qualification: Any Graduation; Scholarship amount: Rs. 2000 per month.

Interested candidates have to apply through www.applicationnew.co/iocscholar in response to the notification. The performance of the scholar must be satisfactory throughout the course and IOC shall discontinue the scholarship if found the student is not promoted to the next academic year / semester.
