Shipping Corporation of India TNOCs – DNS Course Feb 2017 Batch Admissions

The Shipping Corporation of India Limited has announced selection of TNOCs (DNS Course) February 2017 Batch. The details are given below:

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into 12 months Pre Sea Training course, commencing in February 2017, followed by 18 months of Structured Shipboard Training as TNOC (Deck Cadet) under Indian Maritime University.

The training will lead to Degree in B.Sc (Nautical Science) to be conducted at SCI Maritime Training Institutions.

Admission to this course is through IMU – CET conducted by Indian Maritime University. For details of this examination, see www.imu.edu.in . Last date of registrations for IMU CET is 19 December 2016.

Indian Maritime University M.Tech Admissions 2016-17

Indian Maritime University (IMU) has announced notification for admission into M.Tech Program for the academic year 2016-17. The Common Entrance Test (CET) will be held for shortlisting the candidates.

The course will commence from August 2016. Following are details of program:
Courses: M.Tech Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering, M.Tech Dredging and Harbor Engineering.

Applications can be submitted online from 1 April 2016. Last date for the submission of online applications is 13 May 2016. The CET (Common Entrance Test) will be held on 4th June 2016. For more details, see the website www.imu.edu.in.

Indian Maritime University is a specialised university for Maritime courses and training. This is a central university and established by the Government of India to impart maritime training to the aspiring candidates.
