Applications are invited by the Institute of Life Sciences (ILS), Bhubaneswar for admissions into Ph.D programmes for the year 2014. ILS is an Autonomous Institute functioning under the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India.

Applicants must have Post Graduation. Only short-listed candidates will be called for interview. The selection will be made through interview (start from 3rd March, 2014). For any information see website : www.ils.res.in.

Duly filled in application form along with relevant documents should reach the Administrative Officer, Institute of Life Sciences, NALCO Square, Bhubaneswar – 751 023, India. Last date for the submission of application form is 27th January, 2014.

Institute of Life Sciences – Ph.D Programme Admissions 2013

Institute of Life Sciences (ILS), Bhubaneswar has announced notification for admission into Ph.D programme through entrance test for the academic session 2013. ILS is an autonomous Institute of the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India.

Eligibility : Masters Degree any discipline of science / M.Tech. / M.Pharm. / M.V.Sc. or its equivalent with minimum first class marks. Must have a valid CSIR / UGC / INSPIRE / GATE / GPAT score. Applicants age should be below 28 years.
Mode of selection : Entrance test and interview.
Period of course : 3 to 4 years.
Application fee : Rs. 500 in the form of DD payable at Bhubaneswar and should drawn in favour of Director, Institute of Life Sciences, Bhubaneswar.

Eligible candidates should apply in the prescribed format (downloaded from website : www.ils.res.in) along with attested copies of mark sheets / testimonials and fee DD to the Director, Institute of Life Sciences, Nalco Square, Bhubaneswar – 751 023. Last date for the receipt of filled in application form is 1st July, 2013. Date of entrance test is 11th August, 2013. Interview date is 12th / 13th / 14th August, 2013.
