IIT Gandhinagar Ph.D, M.Tech and PGDIIT Admissions 2014-15

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Gandhinagar has announced notification for admissions into Ph.D, M.Tech and PGDIIT programmes for the academic session 2014. The selection process will consist of written test and interview.

Ph.D programmes are offered in the subject of Biological Engineering, Chemistry, Civil Engineering, Cognitive Science, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Earth Sciences, Electrical Engineering, History, Language and Literature, Materials Science and Engineering, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Philosophy, Physics, Political Science, Psychology, Social Epidemiology and Sociology.
Eligibility : MA / M.Sc / B.Tech / M.Tech.

M.Tech. programmes are offered in the branch of Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical and Materials Science and Engineering.
Eligibility : BE / B.Tech with a valid GATE score.

PGDIIT programmes are offered in the discipline of Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical and Material Science and Engineering.

IIT Gandhinagar Ph.D Admissions 2012-13

Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IIT), is offering Fellowships for admission into Ph.D programme in the following disciplines. Applicants should have minimum 55 percent marks in any one of MA / MSc / B.Tech / M.Tech or equivalent degree in relevant branches. IIT Gandhinagar is also offering a Start Early Ph.D Fellowship with additional financial support to start on a direct PhD programme.

Ph.D programme is offered in the following Disciplines :
1. Engineering : Chemical – 8, Electrical – 8, Civil – 6, Mechanical – 6, Materials Science and Engineering – 3.
2. Sciences : Mathematics – 3, Chemistry – 4, Physics – 3.
3. Humanities and Social Sciences – 6 (Cognitive Science, Sociology, Philosophy, Psychology and English).
