IIST Tiruvananthapuram Ph.D Admissions 2015-16

Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST), Tiruvananthapuram has issued notification for admission into Ph.D. program for the academic year 2015-16. The program will be starting from January 2015. The details of areas of research, selection and application procedure are given below:

Areas of research: Aerospace Engineering, Avionics, Earth and Space Sciences, Humanities, Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics.

Interested candidates can apply online only through the IIST website at www.iist.ac.in . The online application submission facility will be available from 10th December to 26th December 2014.

Last date for uploading the bank challan is 30th December 2014. Details of age limit, research specialisations, qualifications and other conditions are available on the website.

IIST Thiruvananthapuram Ph.D Admissions 2013-14

Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IISST), Thiruvananthapuram has announced notification for admission into Ph.D. programme for academic session 2013. Ph.D. programmes are offered in the areas of Aerospace Engineering, Chemistry, Mathematics, Earth and Space Sciences, Avionics Engineering, Humanities and Physics.

Eligibility : Applicants should have Post Graduation in Engineering / Technology / Science in relevant discipline with minimum 60 percent marks in aggregate. Candidate must have qualified in NET / GATE. Applicants age should be below 28 years. The selection process will consist of written test / interview.

The prescribed application forms are available on website : www.iist.ac.in. Downloaded completed application form along with self attested copies of certificates should be sent to The Administrative Officer, IIST, Valiamala Post, Thiruvananthapuram – 695 547 along with fee DD for Rs. 250 drawn in favour of The Registrar, IIST and payable at Thiruvananthapuram.

Last date for the receipt of filled in application form is 20th November 2012. Written test or Interview will be held at IIST, Trivandrum during 1st week of January, 2013.
