IISER Bhopal Ph.D Admissions Notification 2016-17

Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Bhopal (IISER) has announced notification for admission into Ph.D program for the academic year 2016-17. The academic session will start from January 2016. The program is offered in Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Earth and Environmental Sciences and Physics.

Eligibility: Candidates should have M.Sc/ M.Tech degree in concerned discipline with a minimum of 60 percent marks along with valid GATE score / UGC / CSIR / JEST / ICMR or its equivalent.

The eligible candidates will get financial assistance. Interested candidates can visit www.iiserb.ac.in/phdadmission for application procedure.

Online application process will open on 12th October 2015. Last date for the submission of online applications is 20th October 2015. For more information, see the website.

IISER Admissions into BS – MS Dual Degree 2015-16

Indian Institute of Science Education and Resarch (IISER) has issued notification for admission into BS – MS Dual Degree Program for the academic year 2015. The IISER campuses are located at Bhopal, Kolkata, Mohali, Pune, Thiruvananthapuram and Tirupati. The IISER at Tirupati will start from this academic year 2015-16.

Eligibility: Candidates will be admitted into BS – MS Dual Degree through three streams. These are as follows:
1) Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) Basic Science Stream
2) IIT JEE Advanced 2015 with at least 60 percent marks in XII.
3) State and Central Boards students passed Class XII in 2014 and appearing for exams in 2015 with Science stream.
4) Candidates eligible for INSPIRE Scholarship

Selected candidates will get Rs. 5000 per month as scholarship under KVPY or INSPIRE scholarship. This is subject to continued academic performance.

Candidates can submit applications online only through www.iiseradmissions.in . Application fee is Rs. 1500. Application portal opens from 1 June 2015. Last date for KVPY and JEE candidates is 27 June and for State and Central Board candidates, 4 July 2015.
