IIM Tiruchirappalli Fellow Program in Management 2011

Indian Institute of Management Tiruchirappalli (IIMT) has announced notification for admission into Fellow Program in Management (FPM). FPM is the doctoral program of Indian Institute of Management Tiruchirappalli (IIMT) and is globally recognized. The institute is focusing on the inter-disciplinary research areas of business management and public policy. Duration of the program is 5 years. Maximum duration of the programme is 8 years. Following are details of program, eligibility and application procedure:

Eligibility: Applicants should have an MBA Degree or a PGDM from IIM OR should have a professional qualification like CA, ICWA, CS or their equivalent qualification. OR candidates should have first class B.E / B.Tech / B.Arch or a Master’s Degree in any discipline with at least 21 months work experience. Candidates with MBBS Degree are also eligible.

Candidates should have a valid score of CAT 2011 or GATE or GMAT or GRE. Scores of GATE / GMAT/ GRE should be from tests taken during 2011. Candidates in the final year of their MBA / PGDM Programmes can also apply. Shortlisted candidates from the above scores will be called to Tiruchirappalli for a Research proposal presentation on a research topic and will be further short listed for an interview. IIM Indore FPM Admissions 2012

IIM Indore is offering an innovative and highly attractive Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) for those interested in research studies in Management Sciences. The admission notification for 2012 session has been released. IIMI offered Fellow Programme is a unique Doctoral programme in management. The programmes in designed to churn out highly efficient and skilled managers to cater the needs of research and academics in the discipline of Management. The duration of the course is four years. Candidates with strong academic background and preferably with professional experience are invited to apply for FPM of IIM Indore as per the details given below:

Following specializations are offered at IIM Indore as part of its FPM:

1. Finance and Accounting
2. Organizational Behaviour and HRM
3. Information Systems
4. General Management – Communication
5. Marketing
6. Operations Management and Quantitative Techniques
7. Economics
8. Strategic Management

Eligibility Requirements: Applicants should have a Master’s degree in any discipline, with at least 55 per cent marks and any Bachelors degree with minimum 50 percent marks. OR candidates with a Bachelor’s degree like CA, ICWA, CS with at least 55 percent marks along with minimum two years post-qualification work experience are also eligible. Those with professional degrees like B.E./B.Tech. with minimum 60 percent marks also can apply. They also need at least two years post-qualification work experience. Those admitted into the FPM programme will get Rs. 15000 per month for first and second years and Rs. 20000 per month for third and fourth years as stipend. They will be offered free boarding and lodging and also get waiver of tuition fee for four years.

Selection and application procedure: Selection of the candidates will be based on valid CAT/ GMAT score. Those not having these scores have to appear for Research Aptitude Test (RAT) of the IIM Indore. Candidates with CSIR – JRF also can apply. Short listed candidates will be called for interviews and further evaluation at IIM Indore. Interested candidates can download application forms from the website www.iimidr.ac.in.
