IETE Engineering and Diploma Admissions 2012 – 2013

Girls writing examsThe Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE), New Delhi has announced notification for admission to Government recognized Engineering Programmes leading to AMIETE and Diploma in ETE for the years 2012 – 2013. Candidates those passed in 10+2 with MPC group and those with 10th pass can register for AIIETE and Diploma programmes respectively. IETE offer following courses:

1. Electronics and Telecommunication
2. Computer Science and Engineering
3. Information Technology (Degree level only)
4. Dual Diploma in Engineering (ET and CS)
5. Dual Degree in Engineering (ET / CS / IT)
6. Integrated Programme (Diploma and AMIETE in ET, OR , CS)

The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) is India’s leading professional society working for the advancement of advancement of Science and Technology of Electronics, Telecommunication and Information Technology. The IETE conducts basic engineering and continuing programs in engineering related disciplines leading to AMIETE and ALCCS which are equivalent qualifications to B.Tech and M.Tech respectively. Following are details of the programs:

1. Graduateship (AMIETE) Examination: The courses are offered in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering and Information Technology. The IETE also conducts Diploma (DIPIETE) Examination in Electronics and Telecommunication and Computer Science and Engineering streams. The qualification of AMIETE Examination is recognised by Government of India for the recruitments to superior posts and services. A pass in Diploma Level (DIPIETE) Examination will be useful for employment in Central Government posts.

2. Post Graduate Level Course ALCCS (Advanced Level Course in Computer Science): This course also recognised by the Govt. of India as equivalent to M. Tech in Computer Science. Those qualified in the examination will be eligible for the appointment to posts in Central Government in appropriate field.
