RRB Group D Level 1 and NTPC CBT Notice by Railway Board

RRB has issued a notice with regard to Group D / Level 1 posts. The computer based test (CBT) for Level 1 posts under notification CEN o2/2018 is yet to be conducted by RRB. Meanwhile the RRB has released the syllabus and examination pattern for Level 1 posts. RRB Level1 Exam News and exam notice is given below.

Model Papers / Mock Tests for Level 1 posts (Group D posts):

We have prepared mock tests / model papers for RRB Group exams with the help of subject experts and previous examination papers.

For NTPC Exams:

The mock tests / model papers are also available for RRB – NTPC phase 1 exams, which is called CBT 1 exam. The online exams are useful for the candidates for the practice and also covers the syllabus prescribed by RRB.

The Official Exam Pattern – RRB Level1 Exam News:

According to the notice released by RRB, the official pattern of CBT of Level 1 posts will be as follows:

Mathematics: 25 questions
General Intelligence and Reasoning: 30 questions
General Science: 25 questions
General Awareness and Current Affairs: 20 questions

Duration of CBT – RRB Level1 Exam News:

There is no change in duration of the exam. It is 90 minutes for all the candidates except PWD. For PWD candidates with accompanied scribe, the duration of exam is 120 minutes.

RRB has also indicated that the section wise number of questions are indicative and there may be changes in the actual question paper. The number of questions in each section may vary upto +/- 5 questions or same as per the notice.

It is informed that the RRB is looking for independent examination agency for Group D and NTPC exams. So the release of exam dates and hall tickets may be further delayed.

RRB Junior Engineers Exam Updates – Admit Card and Mock Tests

Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has all set to conduct Junior Engineers recruitment exams from 22nd May 2019. RRB – JE is for the recruitment of junior engineers in various railway departments. The computer based online exams will continue for more than a week.

Admit Cards download:

RRB has informed that the candidates may download admit cards for JE exams just 4 days before the commencement of the exams. You can download the admit cards from the RRB websites of any region.

Candidates can get the details of exam city, time and exam centre on admit card. They need to carry one original ID proof, passport size colour photograph, along with a hard copy of e-call letter. Candidates will not be allowed to appear for the exam without the above mentioned documents.

Exam Pattern of JE:

RRB JE exam will have a total of 100 objective multiple choice questions. Time allotted is 90 minutes. There is negative marking and each wrong answer will be awarded minus one-third of the total marks for that question.
