Bengaluru School of Management Srudies (BSMS), Nagedenahalli (Doddaballapur) an institute of GITAM University has issued notification for admission to MBA pgoramme for the academic year 2012-13. The Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh) based Gitam University has started it’s management studies campus in Bengaluru. This is the first batch of the institute at Bengaluru.

Dual Specializations are offered at the institute. These are Finance, Marketing, HRM, Retail, Systems, Banking and Insurance. Qualifications: Applicants should have minimum 50 percent aggregate marks in the qualifying exam. Admissions will be based on scores in CAT / MAT/ XAT / GMAT, Group Discussions and Personal Interviews.

GITAM University GAT – Engineering Fee Structure, Counseling and Programmes

Gitam University is a reputed private university in the country with campuses at Visakhapatnam and Hyderabad. The University has more than three decades of teaching and research experience in the field of engineering, management and sciences. Gitam university offer more than hundred programs at UG, PG and Doctoral levels in the disciplines of Technology, Pharmacy, Science, Management, International Business and Architecture. Gitam University conducts GITAM Admission Test (GAT), which is a computer based online test for selecting the candidates for admission to UG and PG Technology Programs in both campuses of the university.

Eligibility for B.Tech Programmes: Applicants should have passed in 10+2 or 12th examination with minimum 60 percent marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and 1st Class in single attempt. For B.Tech. in Biotechnology, candidates should have secured minimum 60 percent marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry or Biology, Physics and Chemistry in single attempt. Candidate’s rank in GAT (UGT) 2012 will be considered for shortlisting the eligible candidates. For B.Arch. program, candidates should qualify NATA exam.

Application Procedure: Candidates can apply in the following methods. You can apply online or applications are available at designated branches of Union Bank of India and Indian Bank. List of bank branches available on the website. Application forms can be obtained from the Director, Admissions also by sending a request for the same on plain paper giving the candidate’s name with complete mailing address along with a DD for Rs. 1,100/- (Rs. 700/- for female candidates) drawn in favour of GITAM University payable at Visakhapatnam. Completed applications should reach Director-Admissions, GITAM University, Gandhi Nagar Campus, Rushikonda, Visakhapatnam – 530 045, Andhra Pradesh, India on or before 14th March 2012 (For the academic year 2012-13.

Gitam GAT Results and Counseling:

Gitam GAT results will be displayed on the official website of the university at www.gitam.edu. The eligible rank holders qualified in GAT are required to attend Online Counseling along with Call Letter by downloading from university website. Online counseling will be held at Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad, Vijayawada and Tirupati. For admission to M.Tech, counseling will be held at Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam centers only.
