IIG Mumbai Ph.D in Geomagnetism Admissions 2012-13

Indian Institute of Geomagnetism (IIG), Navi Mumbai is offering Doctoral Programme in Geomagnetism and Allied fields. The related fields are studies on Solid Earth, Upper Atmosphere and Observatory Data Analysis. IIG is an Autonomous Scientific Research Organization functioning under the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. IIG is inviting applications from eligible candidates for Ph.D degree in the following Universities in various subjects.

1. University of Mumbai in Physics.
2. Shivaji University, Kolhapur in Physics.
3. North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon in Physics, Applied Geology and Environmental Science.
4. SRTM University, Nanded in Geophysics and Environmental Science.
5. Andhra University, Visakhapatanam in Geophysics.

Eligibility : Applicants should have minimum 60 percent marks in M.Sc. / M.Sc. (Technology) in Physics / Environmental Science / Applied Physics / / Applied Geology / Geophysics. Candidate must have Physics / Chemistry / Mathematics as a subject in B.Sc. Applicants should have qualified in NET / GATE / PET. Age should be below 25 years.
