IISER 5 Year BS – MS Dual Degree Admissions 2014-15

Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER) has announced notification for admission into its prestigious programme BS – MS Dual Degree for the academic year 2014-15. The IISER campuses are located at Bhopal, Kolkata, Mohali, Pune and Thiruvananthapuram.

BS – MS is a five year dual degree program. Candidates should have completed Class XII. The candidates should have motivation for research in sciences.

Admission will be for three streams. They are KVPY Basic Science Stream, JEE Advanced 2014 qualified candidates cand State and Central Boards candidates who are eligible for INSPIRE fellowships.

KVPY and INSPIRE candidates will get scholarships. The IISERs will publish all the details in the next admission announcement to be released in February 2014. For more details, see the website at www.iiser-admissions.in .

IIT Bombay M.Tech., Dual Degree and M.Phil Admissions 2013

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay is inviting online applications from eligible candidates for admission into Post Graduation and Ph.D programmes in various subjects for the academic session 2013 – 2014. The selection will be made through interview based on merit in GATE / NET / NBHM / DBT / DST score.

1. M.Tech. programme.
Qualification : BE / B.Tech / B.Sc (Engineering) / M.Sc / MCA / MBBS / M.Pharm / B.Pharm / BDS in relevant discipline with GATE score.
Duration of programme : Two years.

2. M.Tech. and Ph.D. (Dual Degree)
Ph.D Progremme (Engineering / Technolog, Humanities and Social Sciences, Physics, Chemistry and Life Science).
Qualification : M.Tech / ME / M.Phil / BE / B.Tech. / PG with GATE / UGC / CSIR NET score.
Duration of programme : Three years.

3. M.Phil (Planing and Development)
Qualification : Post Graduation in Arts / Commerce with minimum 55 percent marks.
Duration of course : Two years.

Application procedure : Candidates are required to apply online through website : www.iitb.ac.in for M.Tech and Ph.D programme and send their application in the prescribed format (available on website) for M.Phil programme.

Important dates : Closing date for the submission of online application for M.Tech. programme is 2nd April, 2013. Closing date for the submission of online application for Ph.D programme is 3rd April, 2013. Last date for the receipt of completed application form for M.Phil programme is 10th May, 2013.
