DIAT Pune – Admissions into Ph.D Programmes 2016

Defence Institute of Advanced Technology (DIAT), Pune is inviting online applications from eligible candidates for admissions into Ph.D programmes for the academic session 2016-17.

Ph.D programmes are offered in the department of Materials, Mechanical Engineer, Applied Physics, Applied Maths, Electronics Engineering and Aerospace Engineering.

Applicants must have ME / M.Tech / M.Sc or BE / B.Tech with minimum 10 years of research / industrial experience and have a valid NET / GATE score. Applicants age should be below 28 years.

The application fee is Rs. 500 in the form of DD drawn in favour of Vice Chancellor, DIAT, Pune and payable at Pune which should be enclosed along with application form.

Candidates are required to apply online through website : www.diatonline.co.in. The hard copy of application form along with fee DD and relevant documents should reach the Joint Registrar (Academics), Defence Institute of Advanced Technology, Pune – 411 025.

Opening date for online registration is 30th March, 2016. Closing date for online registration is 22nd April, 2016. Last date for the receipt of hard copy of application form is 29th April, 2016.

DIAT Pune M.Tech and Ph.D Admissions July 2012 Session

Defence institute of Advanced Technology (DIAT), Pune is inviting applications for admission to M.Tech and Ph.D programmes for the academic year 2012-13. The DIAT is a premier institute for training and research in the areas of Engineering related to defence sector. The admissions are in progress for July 2012 session. M.Tech program is available in the specializations of Guided Missiles, Cyber Security, Air Armament, Radars and Communication etc. Ph.D. can be pursued in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering and Applied Physics.

Eligibility Requirements: For Ph.D, applicants should have minimum 55 percent marks in M.E./M. Tech. for Ph.D. in Engineering. Candidates with M.Sc. Degree with at least 55 percent marks eligible for Ph.D. in Science programmes. For M.Tech programme, candidates need minimum 55 percent marks in the qualifying examination (BE / B.Tech in concerned discipline) along with valid GATE Score / UGC-CSIR NET qualification.

Applicants age should be below 26 years as on July 1, 2012. Selected candidates will get Rs.8000 per month as scholarship. Candidates have to apply online through DIAT website at www.diatonline.co.in . You can also download application forms from the website. Application fee is Rs.200 (100 for SC/ST candidates) per programme. Filled in hard copies of applications should be uploaded to the website. You need not sent hard copy to DIAT. Last Date for the receipt of filled in application forms is 05 May 2012.
