University of Delhi South Campus, New Delhi has announced notification for Joint Admission Process for Master of Business Economics (MBE) and Master of Finance and Control (MFC) for the Academic Session 2012-2013. Duration of the programme is 2 years. Both are full time post graduate programmes with focus on the needs of the corporate industry. University of Delhi has excellent placement record for management candidates. Following are details of programmes, eligibility, selection and application procedure:

Master of Business Economics (MBE) and Master of Finance and Control (MFC): Applicants should be Graduates under 10+2+3 mode in any discipline with at least 50 percent marks. Candidates should have studied Maths or business maths at +2 level.Total number of seats are 46 in MFC and 82 in MBE. Candidates those appearing for final year exams also can apply.

Selection of the candidate will be based on CAT 2011 scores. University of Delhi uses CAT scores for short listing the candidates. Interested candidates can application forms from Room No 229, Arts Faculty Building, South Campus on payment of Rs. 1700 (Rs. 800 for SC, ST and PC candidates) for two programmes. University of Delhi Ph.D in Business Economics Admissions 2012-2013

Department of Business Economics, University of Delhi South Campus, New Delhi has announced notification for admission into Ph.D. Programme in Business Economics for the academic year 2012-13. University of Delhi is one of the highly reputed universities in the country and known for best infrastructure and placements for its management candidates. Eligibility and Educational Qualifications: Applicants should have Master’s degree in MBA / MBA / Economics / Environmental Studies / Commerce with minimum of 55 percent marks or equivalent grading. Candidates with M.Phil. with minimum of 50 percent marks or equivalent grading also can apply.

Selection Procedure: Applicants are required to appear for an Entrance Examination followed by Personal Interview on 5th December 2011. Interviews will be conducted at the Department of Business Economics, University of Delhi, South Campus, New Delhi – 110021. 40 percent weightage will be given for the written test. There will be three exercises based on analytical writing on topics related to current affairs, economics and business. Candidates have to attempt any two out of these 3 exercises. 30 percent weightage will be given for interview.
