Vignan University VSAT 2013 for Engineering Admissions

Vignan University, Guntur (Vadlamudi) is inviting applications in the prescribed format for admission into Graduation and Post Graduation courses in various disciplines for the year 2013. The admission will be made through V-SAT – 2013 online test to be held on 14th to 20th April, 2013.

1. Under Graduation courses: B.Tech (Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science Engineering and other courses are also available). BBM and MBA (5 year Integrated programme).

Eligibility : Passed in Intermediate with MCE / CEC / MPC / BPC groups with minimum first class marks.

2. Post Graduation courses: M.Tech (School of Electronics, School of Electrical, School of Chemical, School of Computing, School of Mechanical, School of Biotechnology).

MBA (Marketing Management, Financial Management, Human Resource Management and Systems Management), MCA, Ph.D. and Innovative programmes (B.Tech with Civil Service, BBM with Civil Survice).

Qualification :Graduation in any discipline with minimum 50 percent marks in aggregate. Qualified in CAT / MAT / State CETs / XAT./ GATE exam.

The application fee is Rs. 800 drawn in favour of Vignan University and payable at Guntur. The completed application in the prescribed format along with photocopies of all relevant supporting documents should be sent to the Director – Admissions, Vignan University, Vadlamudi, Guntur (dist.) – 522 213 Andhra Pradesh, India. SASTRA University Ph.D. Admissions 2012

SASTRA University (Shanmugha Arts, Science, Technology and Research Academy), Thanjavur, Tamilnadu has announced notification for admission to Ph.D. Programmes in the disciplines of Engineering, Technology, Arts and Sciences, Management, Education and Law. There are three types of registrations available for the candidates. These are Full time internal, Part time internal and Part time external registrations. Selected candidates will get a stipend of Rs. 10000 to Rs. 14000 per month provided they do not receive CSIR or GATE fellowships. Following are details of the programme for the year 2012-13.

Eligibility Requirements: Applicants should have minimum 55 percent marks in the qualifying degree. Candidates should have Master’s degree in Engineering / Technology / Pharmacy / Arts / Science / Management / Computer Applications. Candidates with Chartered Accountancy (CA) and a minimum of two years of work experience also can apply. Applicants with Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 60 percent marks with an industrial sponsorship also will be considered for direct Ph.D. programme.

Sastra University is offering Ph.D. courses in the Schools of Chemical and Biotechnology, Civil Engineering, Computing, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Humanities and Social Sciences, Management and Social Sciences. Selection of the candidates will be based on performance in the written examination and interviews to be conducted at the campus on 28th January 2012.

Registrations for Ph.D. programme will be done quarterly, on the first week of January, April, July and October every year . B.Tech candidates can also register for Direct Ph.D. programmes.
