CTET

The Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi has announced notification for 9th Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) to be conducted across the country on 21 February 2016. The candidates those qualified in CTET will be eligible for appointment as a teacher for Class I to VIII.

Interested candidates can apply only online for CTET – February 2016 through CTET website ctet.nic.in .

Qualification: Candidates should have qualified in Senior Secondary/ Diploma in Elementary Education/ B.El.Ed./ Graduation/ B.Ed./ B.A/ B.Sc.Ed./ B.A.Ed/ B.Sc.Ed.

Important Dates:

1) Last date for the submission of fee through E-challan or Debit/ Credit Card: 29 December 2015.
2) Period for online corrections in particulars: 30 December 2015 to 4 January 2016.
3) Download Admit Card from CTET website: 25 January 2016 Onwards.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi has issued notification for conducting Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) during February 2015. The test is for deciding eligibility to work as a teacher for classes I to VIII. The exams will be held on 22 February 2015.

Central Teacher Eligibility Test – CTET February, 2015
Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes I to V (Primary Stage) :
Senior Secondary with minimum 50 percent marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education or Senior Secondary with minimum 45 percent marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education.

Qualification for becoming Teacher for Classes VI to VIII (Elementary Stage) :
Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education or Degree with minimum 50 percent marks and passed or appearing in 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).

Candidates are required to apply online through website : http://ctet.nic.in. Closing date for submission of online application is 8th January, 2015.
Last date for payment of fees through E-Challan or Debit / Credit Card is 10th January, 2015. Date of examination is 22nd February, 2015.
