CLAT 2014 – Common Law Admission Test

Gujarat National Law University (GNLU), Gandhinagar has issued notification inviting applications for admission to Under Graduate and Post Graduate Programmes for the academic year 2014–15. GNLU is conducting admissions into National Law Universities through CLAT 2014.

Admissions into BL / LLB and ML / LLM in national law universities will be through CLAT – 2014.

UG Programme: Applicants should have passed 10 + 2 or equivalent examination with not less than 45 percent marks. Those appearing in the qualifying examination in March / April 2014 are also eligible to apply.
Age should be below 20 years as on 1st July 2014.

PG Programme: Candidates should have passed with 55 percent marks in aggregate in LL.B. Those candidates appearing in the qualifying examination in March / April 2014 are also eligible to apply.

CLAT 2014 Notification for LLB and LLM Admissions

Notification for admission into Law graduate courses for the academic year 2014-15 has been released by National Law University, Gujarat. The examination called as CLAT 2014 will be held by GNLU, Gujarat. The courses offered through this entrance exam are BL and ML. Following are the details of Law Universities and institutions offering admission through CLAT 2014.

Universities: NALSAR – Hyderabad, NLSIU – Bangalore, NLIU- Bhopal, WBSUJS – Kolkata, NLU – Jodhpur, HNL – Raipur, GNLU – Gandhinagar, NLU – Lucknow, RGNUL – Patiala, CSLU – Patna, NUALS – Kochi, NLUO – Cuttack, NUSLR – Ranchi, NLUJAA – Gauhati.

Duration of BL / LLB is four years and ML / LLM is two years. Applicants should have Intermediate for BL and LLB for LLM course. Selection will be based on the performance in CLAT 2014 and personal interviews.

Online registrations will be accepted from 1 January 2014. Last date for the submission of applications is 31 March 2014. CLAT 2014 will be held on 11 May 2014 . For more details, see the website www.clat.ac.in .
