CLAT 2017 for LLB and LLM Admissions in National Law Universities

Common Law Admission Test (CLAT – 2017) will be conducted online for admission into law courses in National Law Universities for the academic session 2017-18.

Online applications are invited for admission through www.clat.ac.in to Under-Graduate and Post-Graduate Programmes. 18 National Law Universities are offering admissions through this test.

Programme Details:

1. Under Graduate Programme (Five year Integrated LL.B. (Hons.) Course).
Qualification: Candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum of 45 percent marks.
Age limit: Below 20 years.

2. Post Graduate Programme (One year LLM Course)
Qualification: Candidates need LLB or equivalent degree examination with a minimum of 55 percent marks.

Important Dates:

1) Date of commencement of submission of duly filled-in online application forms: 1 January 2017.
2) Last date for receiving online application forms: 31 March 2017.
3) Date of online examination: 14 May 2017.

CLAT 2016 Notification for BA – LLB and LLM Admissions

Notification has been announced for Common Law Admission Test (CLAT – 2016) for admission into Graduate and Post Graduate Law Programmes in national level law universities / institutions for the academic year 2016-17. CLAT 2016 is being conducted by Rajiv Gandhi National Law University.

Universities participating in CLAT – 2016:

1) National Law School of India University, Bangalore
2) The National Law University, Bhopal
3) National Law University, Jodhpur
4) Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar
5) Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Patiala
6) The National University of Advanced Legal Studies, Kochi.
7) Nalsar University of Law, Hyderabad.
8) Law Universities at Visakhapatnam, Ranchi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Patna, Cuttack, Guwahati, Tiruchirapalli etc.

Courses:

1) Undergraduate Programme (BA – LLB Honours)
Duration is five years.

2) Post Graduate Programme (LLM)
Duration is one year.

Applications can be submitted online only through the website from 1st January 2016. Last date for the submission of online applications is 31 March 2016. CLAT 2016 will be held on 8th May 2016.
