BITS Pilani ME, M.Pharm and Ph.D Admissions 2011-12

Birla Institute of Science and Technology (BITS) Pilani is inviting applications for admission into various Higher Degree (ME / M.Pharm) and Ph.D. Programs for the academic year 2011-12. BITS has campuses at Pilani, Hyderabad and Goa. Admissions Officer, BITS Pilani has released the notification on behalf of all other campuses. Admission to all the below courses will be made on all India basis and strictly on merit and suitability of the candidate for a particular course. Applicants should have minimum 60 percent marks in the qualifying examination. Following are details of courses and application procedure:

1. M.E. Programs: Biotechnology / Communication Engineering / Chemical / Chemical with specicalization in Petroleum Engineering / Civil Engineering (With Specialisations in Structural Engineering / Transportation Engineering / Infrastructure Systems / Water Resources) / Computer Science / Microelectronics / Embedded Systems / Electrical with specialization in Power Electronics and Drives / Mechanical Engineering / Mechanical with specialization in Thermal Engineering / Design Engineering / Manufacturing Systems / Software Systems.

2. M. Pharm / M. Pharm with specialization in Pharmaceutics / Pharmaceutical Chemistry
3. MBA
4. MPH: (Master in Public Health)

5. Ph.D. Programs: In Engineering, Pharmacy, Science and Humanities disciplines.

All the candidates admitted to the Higher Degree and Ph.D. programmes will be considered for assistantship in the form of stipend and partial tuition fee waiver. They need to participate in teaching and other academic developmental programme of the institute.
