Annamalai University Entrance Examination 2013-14

Annamalai University, Annamalainagar is inviting applications for admission into BE / B.Sc. Engineering, B.Sc Horticulture degree programmes and MBBS / BDS / BPT / B.Sc Nursing and B.Pharm Self Financing courses for the academic year 2013-14. Following are details of programmes and admission procedure:

1) Engineering (BE): Civil, Civil and Structural, Mechanical, Mechanical – Manufacturing, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics and Instrumentation, Chemical, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication.

2) B.Sc Agriculture, B.Sc Horticulture.

3) Medicine: MBBS, BDS, BPT, B.Sc Nursing, B.Pharm.

Application forms can be downloaded from the website www.annamalaiuniversity.ac.in . Last date for the receipt of applications is 28th May 2013. Entrance examinations will start from 7th June and continued till 9th June 2013.

Annamalai University UG and PG and Integrated PG Admissions 2013

Annamalai University, Chennai has announced notification for admission into PG, Degree and Integrated PG courses for the year 2013. Application fee should be paid in the form of DD drawn in favour of The Registrar, Annamalai University, Annamalainagar and payable at Chennai. Application form can be obtained from the Registrar, Annamalai University, Annamalainagar – 608 002.

1. Post Graduation programmes
MA (English, History, Political Science, Public Administration, Development Studies, Sociology, Population Studies, Gandhian Studies, Philosophy, Culture and Tourism, Economics, Applied Economics, Rural Management, Tamil, Sanskrit, Hindi and Lifelong Education)

MBA, MSW, MHNN, M.Com and MLISC.

M.Sc (Maths, Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Natural Production and Clinical Trails, Biotechnology, Botany, Zoology, Environmental Biotechnology, Geology, Microbiology and oceanography, Coastal Aquaculture, Marine Biotechnology, Marine Food Technology, Marine Microbiology, Marine Pharmacology Marine Chemistry and Applied Psychology.

M.Ed, MP.Ed and BP.Ed.

Eligibility : Graduation in relevant branch.
Duration of course : Two years.

2. Degree Programmes
BE / B.Tech : Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics, Chemical, IT, Electronics and Instrumentation, Computer Science, Electronics and Communication, Environmental, Water Resource, Structural, Construction, Thermal Power, Manufacturing, Nano-materials and Surface, Power Systems Engineering and B.Sc Agriculture.

3. Integrated PG programme
MA : English, History, Political Science, Economics, Sociology, Tamil and Rural Management.
M.Sc : Maths, Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Botany, Herbal Science, Zoology, Geology, Ocean Science and Technology, Software Engineering, IT and ECE.

Eligibility : Passed in Intermediate or equivalent.
Duration of programme : 5 years.

Important dates
UG programme : Last date for the submission of filled in application form is 10th June, 2013.
PG programme : 20th June, 2013.
Diploma courses : 28th June, 2013.
